
The police are reporting that 30-year-old Kayodi Satchell, a dental assistant and a person of interest who was taken into custody, has been charged in connection with the abduction and death of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe.
Satchell was charged on Monday, August 28, with abduction and murder following a question-and-answer session.
A court date has not yet been finalised.
The grade-two student of Braeton Primary and Infant School in St Catherine was reportedly abducted from school.
She was later found by a member of the Jamaica Defence Force with her throat slashed.
She was rushed to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, where she succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, June 10, while receiving medical care.
