With less than three months to the main event, preparations are now moving into a critical phase, including athlete recruitment, corporate engagement, sponsorship, production planning, course development, media and broadcast preparations and the development of the four-day JUAC experience.

The inaugural JUAC is intended to establish the foundation for future editions and position Jamaica as a destination capable of creating and exporting innovative sporting properties.

Whycliffe “Dave” Cameron, Project Co-Leader, said the JUAC represents an opportunity to connect sport with Jamaica’s wider creative and economic sectors.

“We are creating a property that sits at the intersection of sport, tourism, entertainment, media and business. Jamaica has the talent and the personality to create sporting experiences that can travel internationally. The JUAC is designed to be one of those properties.”

With the inaugural event approaching, the organisers are finalising discussions with companies interested in becoming founding partners, sponsors, corporate participants and media partners.

Opportunities are being developed across categories including:

  • Title and presenting partnerships
  • Corporate team participation
  • Athlete and team sponsorship
  • Product and service
  • Broadcast and digital-media partnerships
  • Hospitality and VIP experiences
  • Tourism and destination partnerships
  • Health, wellness and fitness activations
  • Consumer promotions and experiential marketing
  • Content creation and branded entertainment

The organisers believe the JUAC provides brands with an opportunity to associate themselves with a new Jamaican sporting property from its first edition.

The organisers are encouraging corporate Jamaica, athletes, sponsors, media organisations and tourism stakeholders to become part of the inaugural experience.

The Jamaica Ultimate Athlete Challenge takes place November 19–22, 2026, with the main competition on Saturday, November 21, at Tru-Juice Farms, St Catherine.
