On Sunday, August 23rd, Couples Resorts held its 24th annual charity golf tournament at the Sandals Golf and Country Club in Upton, St. Mary. Seventy players participated in the tournament in the two-man scramble format.

The tournament was sponsored by Wisynco, Nations Choice, CPJ, Select Brands, and ICWI, among others. The tournament raised funds for the Mary Issa Health Center, which is to be opened in Richmond, St. Ann. The project is being done by the Issa Trust Foundation, which is the  the philanthropic arm of Couples Resorts

Once construction is completed, the 9,000 sq. ft. Mary Issa Pediatric Health Center will not only provide critical medical services but also serve as a hub for community development. The Center will be located about 20 minutes from Ocho Rios. It will create jobs, stimulate the local economy, and improve overall well-being. Your support will impact the lives of individual children and contribute to the long-term health and prosperity of Jamaica as a whole.

The winners of this year’s tournament are Derrick Dalrymple and Warren Gordon.
