The police have imposed a 28-hour curfew in communities in two different parishes of Manchester and St. James.

In the first curfew, it was imposed in the Land Settlement of the Manchester Policing Division. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. yesterday, Monday, September 21, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: From McIntosh Memorial School at Russel Place running easterly to an area of vegetation bordered by the Winston Jones Highway.

East: From an area of vegetation bordered by the Winston Jones Highway running southerly to an area of vegetation at the Melrose Cemetery bordered by the Comfort district.

South: From an area of vegetation at the Melrose Cemetery bordered by the Comfort district, running westerly at the junction of Comfort and Melrose district bordered by the Comfort district.

West: From the junction of Comfort and Melrose district, bordered by the Comfort district, running northerly to McIntosh Memorial School at Russel Place.

2nd curfew

In the second curfew imposed in several communities of the Manchester Police Division. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 23.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: From the roadway at Manchester Road at the northern boundary, extending eastward, along an imaginary line to an area of vegetation on the eastern boundary. This boundary is bordered by the Heartease District.

East: From the vegetated area on the northern boundary, extending southward, along an imaginary line to a section of roadway at Patrick Town on the southern boundary. This boundary is bordered by the Edgeware District.

South: From the roadway at Broken Hurst on the eastern boundary, extending westward, along an imaginary line to a section of roadway at Inverness District on the western boundary. This boundary is bordered by Inverness and Broken Hurst District 

West: From a section of roadway at Inverness District at the western boundary, extending northward, along an imaginary line to an area of vegetation on the northern boundary. This boundary is bordered by the Knock Patrick Distric

3rd curfew in Ramble, St. James

The curfew imposed in Ramble Hill, Montego Bay, St. James has been extended, and the curfew will continue in effect until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North – From the intersection of Malcolm Drive and Comet Drive along an imaginary line to the intersection of Bogue Heights Drive and Mitsey Alley.

East – From the intersection of Bogue Heights Drive and Mitsey Alley, along an imaginary line to Miller Heights.

South – From Miller Heights along an imaginary line to the Long Perimeter Road construction site.

 West – From the Long Perimeter Road construction site, along an imaginary line to the intersection of Malcolm Drive and Comet Drive.
