Corbin family will retain 30% equity with TSL brand being maintained

Jamaican cross-listed regional Information Technology Group, Productive Business Solutions (PBS) has acquired a 70% stake in TSL (Barbados), further strengthening its regional footprint and technology portfolio.

As part of the Group, TSL Barbados will have access to greater regional expertise, resources and technology capabilities, supporting its continued growth. It will continue to operate under the TSL brand and be led locally, with the Corbin family retaining the remaining 30% stake.

As long-standing CEO, Peter Corbin has retired, with Directors Jake Corbin and Luke Corbin jointly leading the local operations. Customers will continue to be supported by the account managers and service teams they know and trust.

Growth in PBS regional footprint

The investment in TSL Barbados follows PBS’  recent acquisition of Trinidad Systems Limited (TSL). TSL’s expertise in payment methods strengthens PBS Group’s capabilities in financial services, a sector where the Group has long-standing customer relationships across the region.

With both TSL businesses now part of PBS Group, the teams in Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago will be able to collaborate more closely and share expertise, while creating opportunities to pursue new business across the Group’s broader regional footprint.
