Jamaican dancehall artiste Shenseea is continuing to keep her international ties strong, making a courtside appearance during Sunday’s (February 6) NBA game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Blessed hitmaker, who is currently in the US working on visuals for her upcoming album, took a little time off from the grind to attend the match.

The mother-of-one posted a few photos of herself at the game on her official Instagram account with the caption “Ballin’ in Balenciaga at the Ball game,” tagging the NBA at the end of her caption.

The NBA, as part of its ‘NBACelebRow’, posted the star on both their Twitter and Instagram pages.

Shenseea, who was clad in red thigh high heels and a white buttoned down top can be seen holding a silver bedazzled NBA basketball.

Dubbed the princess of dancehall, Shenseea has made recent changes to her management, introducing co-manager Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby to her team in an effort to achieve crossover success with her international audience.

Some time last month, the star was spotted at another basketball match, The Crew League, with Jamaican co-manager Romeich Major.

The Crew League, which began last year and is currently in its third season, is a basketball game with celebrities, mostly hip hop artistes, and their ‘crews’, who play against each other in an effort to claim US$100,000 cash prize—which they donate to a charity of their choice. The tournament is a Tik Tok first of its kind.

The game which she attended was between NLE Chopper and his crew and R&B singer Chris Brown and his crew. American singer YK Osiris, who was also a part of the match, joined NLE Chopper’s team.

However, despite the DJ’s growing popularity, many Americans commented under the ‘NBACelebRow’ post saying they were not aware of who she is.

One commenter, @spectrumslum said, “Nobody know who tf that is” and @john96562614 replied saying, “You right cause you a nobody commenting on a somebody.”

Others defended the star, with @taviimc1 commenting, “The right people know.”

Shenseea, who last month released her new single Lick, featuring Meg The Stallion, has revealed she will be releasing her debut album, Alpha, on March 11.
