The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) says it is delighted to provide support for practical advocacy actions by six civil society organisations (CSOs) and consortia.

This assistance is granted through small grants under the project titled, “A Caribbean Climate Justice Alliance for Advocacy, Action, and Accountability,” which aims to promote climate justice across the Caribbean region.

The project seeks to strengthen mechanisms for advocacy, action, and accountability by leveraging the efforts of the Caribbean Climate Justice Alliance. Its goal is to amplify the voices of the most vulnerable, advocating for transformative development that ensures fair, equitable, and just outcomes in the Caribbean.

CANARI is spearheading the implementation of the project, overseeing the alliance with financial support from the Open Society Foundations, for the period from 2022 to 2024.
