The 17-year-old teenager, who escaped from police custody last Friday (February 9), is now back in custody.

He is Denarto Brown, otherwise known as ‘Coolie’, of Big Bridge District, in Westmoreland.

Reports are that around 8:10 p.m. Brown escaped from the Morgan’s Bridge Police Station where he was being held for wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition and using a firearm to commit a felony.

A manhunt was launched by the Westmoreland police to recapture Brown.
