Key Insurance Company Limited is advising of the resignation of the company’s chief financial officer, Stuart Andrade, with effect as of September 30.

Assistant company secretary Sharon Prendergast will also demit office effective October 15.

KEY has thanked Andrade and Prendergast for their invaluable contributions to the company throughout their tenure.

Transition at Carreras

Carreras Limited is announcing that its current head of trade, Andre Pryce, will be transitioning to a new role within its parent company, the BAT Group.

The transition is effective September 30. In the meantime, Manuel Ruiz will be appointed to the position as head of trade, effective October 1, subject to regulatory approvals.

New director at Ciboney Group

The board of directors of Ciboney Group Limited has announced the appointment of Winston Watson as director, effective September 4.

Watson will serve as an independent non-executive director, and has been appointed to its special committee. Watson is a self-motivated business leader with over 30-years’ experience in leadership and executive management.

During his career, he has both led and held senior management positions in several companies as well as on public and private boards in Jamaica, Barbados and Canada.

He has extensive training in renewable and alternate energy and holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, and both a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of business administration degree from the University of the West Indies.

He has several professional and leadership certifications and accreditations to include from MIT, Sloan School of Management and Harvard Law School.
