Jamaican dancehall veteran Demarco has released his new track Mover on Friday (June 4) and it’s said to be a song for the ladies.

The Konshens collab is a dancehall/reggaetón fusion.

Will it be the next big hit for Summer 2021?

The visuals, along with the hybrid beat will get any girl out of her seat to ‘shake it’.

The video has already racked up more than 22,000 views and 2,500 likes on YouTube.

The video showcases both deejays starring as women’s football coaches but, if the video seems a little frolicky and more sensual than sporty, blame it on how exotic the beat and lyrics are.

Truth be told, whenever Demarco releases a song, it is always a hit.

Songs like Puppy Tail and She Can’t Wait only prove that he has a keen ear for fierce rhythms that will literally force you to again ‘shake it’, even while seated.

Today, Jamaican dancehall fans, especially the ladies, are clearly excited about the Demarco collab with Konshens.

Mover was produced by Ineffable Records.

According to Ineffable Music Group, “he is responsible for helping create some of the biggest dancehall records of all time for others, and we feel like it’s time to spotlight his music on an album”.

Though Demarco just released Mover, it is indeed a distraction, or place holder, for his fans who can expect a soon-to-be released track called Melody.

Melody is inspired by his nine-month-old daughter and will be released on October 22.
