Celebrity couple, Kerie-Ann (Kiki) and Denvo (DJ Denvo) Thombs—co-hosts of the Real Life adventure vlog series on Television Jamaica (TVJ) will make a donation Cockpit Country leader Chief Richard Currie on Thursday (October 21) to assist with the refurbishing of the Accompong Health Clinic.

The handover will take place at the Accompong Health Clinic, the couple said in a statement. 

Chief Currie, who has publicly requested assistance for this initiative is on a mission to sustainably transform Accompong – a historic maroon village – in such a way to preserve the culture, heritage and legacy of the Accompong Maroons, who are an at-risk indigenous community.

The Accompong Health Clinic which serves approximately 2,500 residents of neighbouring villages including Accompong has been closed since 2019 due to disrepair and lack of supplies.
