The police are probing the murder of two men in the ‘Texaco’ community in Harbour View, East Kingston on Sunday, January 7.

The dead men have identified as 32-year-old labourer Anthony Blake, otherwise called ‘Nick’; and 19-year-old Kevaun Fowler, otherwise called ‘Timmy’, both from the same community in Harbour View.

Reports are that residents heard explosions and called the police. When the lawmen arrived on the scene, they saw Blake lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to the upper body and head. Fowler was later found during a search of the area. The 19-year-old had shots to his upper body and head.

The men were transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The Major Investigation Division (MID) is probing the incident.
