Established in 2020, entrepreneur Keneil Facey’s Cabtonestial Supplies has always strived to put the needs of its customers first.

The Clarendon-raised businessman, in speaking with Our Today, expressed his satisfaction with the pace at which the company has grown so far and that he has no regrets.

“I would not have done anything differently because it’s just about improving on what is already there,” said the young entrepreneur, who is still in his early 20s.

Currently an online-based store, Cabtonestial Supplies offers mostly products for cellphones and bedrooms. These items include iPhone chargers, LED strip lights, ring lights, Bluetooth bulbs, blow dryers and Samsung chargers.

The Cabonestial Supplies owner and operator shared that his entrepreneurial spirit has been with him from a tender age. Growing up, whether it was at school, in his community or in the wider town, he would always challenge himself to develop different ways to generate income.

The businessman highlighted his support system, sharing that they are an integral part of his success as a businessman today.

“I was also motivated to continue my entrepreneurial journey because my peers and the residents in my community have stated that ‘Anything I touch in the business world is gold’.”

Taking their advice, Facey always tries to find new products to offer, which ultimately contributes to the growth and popularity of his company.

Facey credits social media as a guide for some of the decisions he has made.

Noticing the social media craze with ring lights and strip lights, he saw an opportunity that he could capitalise on.

“I am normally working with the trends of social media to come up with new products to sell. By doing this, I realised that strip lights and ring lights were a big deal because everyone on social media had a ‘craze’ for them. So I decided to capitalise on the opportunity by selling those accessories.”

Facey, when asked about the support he gets for his business, acknowledged God and shared his contentment with the level of support he has received so far, pointing to his hometown of May Pen in particular being very supportive.

He said he has seen gradual growth in his customer base in parishes including St Ann, St Catherine, Kingston and St Andrew.

In an effort to advertise his business, the young entrepreneur utilises social media in the form of sponsored posts and through social media influencers. He also advertises his company and the products they offer at various events he attends.

Facey hopes to one day open his very own physical store.

“In the future I see myself opening a physical store, selling a variety of products, not only accessories but clothes , bags, phones and food items. As I said, ‘a variety’, so the plan is to own a ‘one-stop’enterprise where customers can have everything they could possibly want at their fingertips.
