Prime Minister Andrew Holness continued his hectic campaigning pace Saturday night (February 24) with a stop in his Olympic Gardens stomping grounds, in the West Central St Andrew constituency.

This will be his last time out on the road before Monday’s Local Government Elections.

He’s then probably be taking his Clarks off and soaking his feet with warm water and Epsom salt before heartily tucking into lunch and spending some time with the family.

At Olympic Gardens, he talked about the importance of working hard in order to come out of less fortunate circumstances. He said his family were not well off but extremely proud and there was always food in the house.

He then went on to say that great efforts have been made to build the economy and that such progress should not be allowed to be diminished.

Holness is good on the stump saying beware of people who make promises that they know they can’t keep.
