Honey Bun gets new financial controller while Lasco has added long time company director Noel DaCosta to its board

Baking company, Honey Bun Limited has appointed a new financial controller.

He is Taariq Abdul-Majeed and his appointment took effect on July 19.

Abdul-Majeed brings to the company over 15 years’ experience and impressive qualifications in the field of finance.

He holds the record of the Sushil Jain award as the youngest chartered accountant in Jamaica. Honey Bun advised that Abdul-Majeed replaces A. Alex Balogun, the former chief financial officer, who is no longer with the company but will be remembered for his achievements which significantly contributed to the company’s growth and development.

In the meantime, Lasco Manufacturing Limited has advised that Noel DaCosta was appointed to the Board of Directors of Lasco Manufacturing. His appointment took effect on July 16, 2021.

DaCosta is a veteran company director having served on the board of several private and public companies over his distinguished business career.
