A little over a month since Jamaican dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom made public that she had signed a deal with international record label Republic Records, it would appear that things are now official.

Taking to Instagram to share the news on Wednesday (July 28), Kingdom captioned a photo of herself alongside a mounted placard with the words “republic records welcomes Jada Kingdom”, stating “Nuh laughing! let’s f–king go!”.

Kingdom had previously expressed her joy at the new venture in a June 23 post, where she, surrounded by her boyfriend, Verse Simmonds and top executives from Republic Records were shown with big smiles and raised glasses in hand.

At the time, the Win singer had captioned the post, “This is what i prayed for… GOD i love you,i trust you,THANK YOU! #Godisneverlate.”

Kingdom’s addition to the Republic Records team will no doubt serve to bolster efforts into expanding into the international market.
