Jamaican Teas appoints Dianna Blake-Bennett CEO of its manufacturing division

Dianna Blake-Bennett has been appointed CEO of Jamaican Teas’ manufacturing division.

Jamaican Teas Limited has announced the appointment of former Salada Foods boss, Dianna Blake-Bennett as CEO of its manufacturing division.

In that capacity, Blake-Bennett will have responsibility for all aspects of the company’s manufacturing business. Her appointment is effective November 15, 2021.

She is an experienced and results oriented management professional and is the first female general manager for Salada Foods Jamaica Limited, one of the oldest manufacturing companies in Jamaica.

Under her leadership, profit has moved by over 100 per cent  from $68 million to $141 million within three years and has bolstered revenue by 30 per cent during the period to over $1 billion. Blake Bennett, prior to her role at Salada Foods Jamaica, was a career marketer with extensive knowledge of fast-moving consumer goods with more than 20 years’ experience in this area.

She has held the chief marketing positions at Restaurant Associates Limited, franchisee for Burger King and Popeyes, Jamaica Cooperative Credit Union League and Industrial Chemical Company.

She holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma Management, Diploma in Project Management from the Mona School of Business and Management.
