The Police High Command has vowed to “spare no efforts” or resources to speedily apprehend the assailants behind the shooting of an active JCF serviceman and his family in Reading, St James, on Saturday night (August 9).
The Jamaica Constabulary Force, in a terse statement on Sunday, says it is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the pre-dawn ambush, during which the policeman, his spouse and son were attacked.
Police advise that the spouse has since succumbed to her injuries, while the serviceman and his son remain under medical treatment at hospital.
