Rappers Kanye West and Drake have seemingly put their feud six feet under.

Both artistes attended Dave Chappelle’s comedy show in Toronto on Tuesday night (November 16).

The artistes, who have thrown lyrical jabs at each other in the past, can be seen in a video together that was posted on Drake’s Instagram account (@champagnepapi).

West, now known as ‘Ye’, took to Instagram as well to upload an image with himself, Drake and the apparent peacemaker, music executive J. Prince, with a dove emoji as the caption to emphasise the quashed ‘beef’ between the artistes.

J. Prince who reportedly organised the reunion, shared his sentiments on Twitter. “What a beautiful night I had last night in Canada,” he wrote on Twitter. “Let’s make history December 9th. Free Larry Hoover Concert.”

Kanye West on November 8, revealed he wanted to put the feud with the Hotline rapper to rest.

In a video shared by J. Prince West shared “This is Ye and J. Prince. I’m making this video to address the ongoing back-and-forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other, and it’s time to put it to rest.”

West continued, asking Drake to join him onstage in a collaborative concert on December 7, in a bid to put their “pride to the side” and “come together” to help free convicted criminal Larry Hoover.

Since 2007, the rappers have taken small lyrical jabs at each other, but despite that, they were seemingly okay up to 2017.

In 2018 their relationship hit a boiling point.

Drake released a diss track called Duppy Freestyle. Rapper Pusha-T, who is signed to West’s label, subsequently released the track, The Story of Adidon, which speaks about Drake’s son, Adonis, whose existence was not public at the time.

Reports are that Pusha-T learnt about the rapper’s son existence from West. West had learnt about Drake’s son at his Scorpion album listening party. West has denied these claims multiple times.
