Massy Holdings has appointed a replacement for general counsel Angélique Parisot-Potter, who made damning revelations of spending irregularities at the Trinidad-based distribution conglomerate.
She has been replaced by Wendy Kerry, who has been appointed acting general counsel effective January 8, 2024. Kerry also holds the title of senior vice-president, corporate governance & corporate secretary. Kerry’s appointment comes within days of Parisot-Potter’s resignation on December 27, 2023.
Parisot-Potter’s resignation came one week after she was sent on paid administrative leave after making public questionable spendings by the management, as part of what it the company called a “disciplinary process”.

Massy said it would launch an investigation after Parisot-Potter, who also held the title of executive vice-president for business integrity, claimed “bizarre rituals” were taking place in the executive leadership training of the company.
She referred to a 13-page document, including audio evidence, at the company’s annual general meeting in December. The company’s management has denied the accusations.
