Three men were arrested on Spanish Town Road on Saturday (October 24) after they were found in possession of cables belonging to a telecommunications company.

Reports are that at about 9:30 a.m. a truck with three men aboard was stopped along a section of the roadway near Six Miles.

The vehicle was searched and a bag with burned cables was found.

It’s understood that two of the men apprehended had previously been charged in a similar matter.

The theft of such cables often results in service disruptions.
