One Great Studio (IGS) is rolling out a human-first, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) approach for its next phase of growth.

At the company’s 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually on Wednesday, August 19, shareholders were given greater insight into how 1GS will leverage artificial intelligence to give clients results that match the world’s most advanced markets.

At the AGM, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Djuvane Browne advised, “When we talk about adapting AI, we’re not talking about using an LLM to generate generic copy or AI-looking flyers, which we’ve all seen flooding our feeds. The best agencies in the world are incorporating AI into every part of how they work, and in such a way that makes the work itself better and more impactful.”

According to him, “we want our clients to have access to that same standard. For this reason, we’ve brought together AI champions from across our House of Brands, people whose role includes testing tools, assessing outputs, documenting SOPs, optimising prompts, and comparing their findings when they get together to share what actually works. When a team finds a winning formula, it doesn’t stay fixed in that one brand. We’ll adopt it across the Group for the benefit of our clients.”

Working Smarter, Not Just Faster

He explained that the current direction builds on the ground IGS laid out in its previous FY2025 Annual Report, which highlighted the potential development of AI-focused services or a dedicated consultancy offering to help clients navigate a fast-moving space.

He emphasised that the creative and media company views itself as AI-native with a human-first approach. This means AI will boost efficiency and output possibilities, but it will not replace the need for or value of human involvement.

For Brown, “our approach is human first. AI will not only take on the volume of the repetitive work through automation, but it will also help us to gather more data and analyse it faster for better outcomes for our clients; it will improve how we tackle quality control, scoping, and testing, and it will free up more space for our team to focus on the judgement, the taste, and the cultural fluency that actually separate great work from noise.”

Investment reaping dividends

Browne recapped the Group’s financial performance for FY2025, which saw revenues of J$376 million, up 10% year-over-year, but recording a net loss of J$25 million, as 1GS absorbed the cost of integrating DRT Communications and building out a shared services across the organisation. The CEO pointed to the first half of FY2026, as proof that investment is paying off. For the first six months ended June 30, 2026, 1GS saw revenues rising to $212 million, up 17% year-over-year, while net profit climbed to J$24 million, representing a J$39 million turnaround over the net loss of J$15 million recorded last year.

Total assets and total debt now stand at J$701 million and J$13 million, respectively. At the AGM, Chairman John Bailey formally welcomed two additions to the Group: Peter Lloyd, who joined the Board earlier this year, and FarmHouse Creative, the Group’s newest brand, represented by founder Vanessa Henderson.

At the AGM, shareholders approved the re-election of Directors Rachel Browne, Simone Bowie Jones, and Marc Ramsay, and the reappointment of Crichton Mullings & Associates as the company’s auditors for FY2026.

1GS said its focus for the remainder of the year is on building out the initiatives outlined at this year’s AGM, including the ongoing evolution of High Voltage Digital and growing revenue across all other brands.

IGS Group comprises  One Great Studio, High Voltage Digital, DRT Communications, and FarmHouse Creative, and delivers digital-first marketing, communications, and creative services, including websites & apps, social media, paid media, SEO, branding, video, public relations, strategic communications, and media monitoring.
