Road users are being advised that a section of the southbound carriageway of Hagley Park Road in the Corporate Area, in the vicinity of Budget Supplies, will be closed on Wednesday, February 14.

The closure will take effect from midnight Tuesday, February 13, to midnight Wednesday.

The National Works Agency (NWA) says the closure is to facilitate the replacement of the metal grating close to the National Commercial Bank branch.

During the period, the slip road from the direction of Waltham Park heading to Portia Simpson Miller Square will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Vehicles wishing to access Spanish Town Road are being advised to use alternative routes.

The NWA is advising motorists to exercise caution while traversing the area during the period of the works, and to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
