Three teenage boys have been arrested and charged with unauthorised possession of ammunition after they were found with several rounds of ammunition.

The boys, who are between the ages of 15 and 17, were arrested along Bedward Garden Crescent, August Town, Kingston 7, on New Year’s Day.

Official reports indicate that the three teenagers were spotted by police on patrol when in the area. The boys were reportedly acting suspiciously. They were searched, and a transparent bag with twelve 9-mm cartridges found.

Their identities are being withheld.
