Three Jamaican-listed companies advise of delay in audited financial statement submissions

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), the principal stock exchange of Jamaica, located on Harbour Street in Kingston., Jamaica.

Three companies on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) last week advised of a delay in the submission of their audited financial statements.

The three companies are Salada, Jetcon and Limners and Bards Limited. In the case of Salada, the company advised of a delay in the publication of its audited financial statement for year 2020/2021.

The manufacturing company reports that, “due to disruptions in timing and schedules experienced during in the audit process caused by challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a delay in the publication of Salada’s audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2020/2021 to the JSE, due on November 29.  

Salada intends to publish its audited financial statements on or before Monday, December 13.

For Jetcon, there will be a delay in its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2021.

Jetcon Corporation, which is a pre-owned car dealership, advised: “A delay in producing the information has been caused by unforeseen circumstances and we expect that the report should be produced no later than November 30.”

Advertising firm Limners and Bards will be late in its submission to the JSE of its fourth-quarter 2021 audited financial statements.

The Board of Directors of Limners and Bards Limited reported that “pursuant to JSE Junior Market Rules Amendment Part 4(1), (a) (ii), the company has elected to exercise its option to submit its fourth-quarter audited financial statements for the year ending October 31, 2021, within 60 days of the end of the quarter, in lieu of unaudited fourth-quarter financials.”
