Seventeen employees from Seprod Group have been placed under arrest in connection with investigations into $160-million fraud at the Jamaican conglomerate.

The news was shared by Deputy Police Commissioner Fitz Bailey during a press conference today (April 13).

Reports from Bailey are that 13 other employees, who are wanted in connection with the case, are on the run and being sought by the police.

The investigation is ongoing.
