A police operation in Green Pond, St. James has netted two rifles, three magazines and an assortment of rounds of ammunition.

Reports from the Barnett Street Police are that at about 3:30 p.m., the team was on operations in the aforementioned area. 

During the search, several premises and surrounding areas were checked and subsequently resulted in the discovery of the following items:

• One ARP 15 Rifle
• One Palmetto State Armory PA15 Multi rifle
• One AK magazine 
• One M15 magazine
• One High-Capacity Multi-Feed Pan Magazine (capable of holding approximately 200 rounds of 5.56 ammunition)

A total of 30 rounds of ammunition were seized. No one was arrested in connection with the seizure but the investigation continues.
