Long-time Board Chairman of Jamaican-based attractions company, Dolphin Cove, Stafford Burrowes has vacated the position.
This came last week when the board accepted his resignation from the chairmanship he has held for over 28 years since the company’s incorporation in September 1998. Burrowes will, however, continue to serve as a Director of the company.

In the meantime, his position as Board Chairman has been filled by Colin Kerr, whose appointment took effect on September 22, 2026.
These changes come as the company recently changed majority owners to Global Attractions Limited, a Saint Lucia-based entity, which acquired a 79.99% controlling stake in Dolphin Cove Limited from the previous majority owners, World of Dolphins Inc.
Last year, Burrows was engaged in a bitter boardroom battle with then-parent company Dolphin Discovery Group CEO, Eduardo Albor Villanueva, which was later settled.
