The governor for the Eastern Canada and Caribbean District of Kiwanis International will be making a special visit to Jamaica beginning today (April 10)  through to April 18. 

During his visit, the governor will pay a special visit to the Matthew 25:40 home on April 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm which will mark the highlight of his trip to Jamaica.

The tour will see the governor meeting with members of the home and its supporting community as well as acquainting himself with the recently launched ‘sensational solar raffle project’, aimed at renovating a section of the Matthew 25:40 home.

The club’s major project for 2023, the solar raffle is a collaboration with the Mustard Seed Communities in order to improve the lives and accommodation of the 19 young men resident at the Matthew 25:40 Home at 1B George Headley Drive in Kingston.

Matthew 25:40 is an extension of the Dare to Care HIV Programme of the Mustard Seed Communities catering to boys and young men.
