In Corporate Movements this week, Caribbean Cement Company Limited has confirmed the appointment of director Alejandra Hernandez to the board’s audit committee. The appointment took effect on January 22.

New CFO at Caribbean Assurance Brokes

Caribbean Assurance Brokers is tapping Renee Edwards to take up the helm as its new chief financial officer. Edwards took up the appointment on January 8.

The board has taken the opportunity to wish Edwards all the best in her capacity within the organisation.

Carreras promotes Rochelle Lee to assistant company secretary

Meanwhile, Carreras Limited is advising of the promotion of legal executive Rochelle Lee, to the post of assistant company secretary, effective January 1.

Changes at Caribbean Cream

Caribbean Cream Limited, which trades on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) as Kremi, is advising of the resignation of Christopher Clarke as board chairman, effective November 2, 2023. 

In a brief statement, Caribbean Cream noted that Clarke stepped aside to focus on executive management as company CEO.  Matthew Clarke, a director, has since been appointed as the new board chairman, an appointment that took effect as at November 3, 2023.
