New man in charge at Berger Paints Jamaica

Berger Paints is announcing the appointment of Osville Linton Johnson to the role of General Manager, effective August 17, 2026. 

Johnson brings over 28 years of executive leadership experience across the Caribbean with a track record in operational transformation, end-to-end supply chain optimisation, enterprise digital transformation, and business growth. The Board welcomes Johnson, as he begins this new chapter with the Berger Paints Jamaica team.

Dolphin Cove

Dolphin Cove Limited appointment of new directors

Four new members have been appointed to the Board of Dolphin, which recently had a change of majority.  The new directors are Darys Estrella, Colin Kerr, Alberto Berges Gonzalez and Sylvain Dominici. The appointments took effect August 17, 2026.

MFS Partners

MFS Capital Partners new member of Audit Committee

The Board of Directors of MFS Capital Partners is advising of the appointment of Gregory Wildman as a member of the Company’s Audit Committee, effective 1 August 2026. Wildman is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). 

He brings 25 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, IFRS financial reporting, corporate governance, risk management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and capital investment appraisal. 

His extensive executive leadership and commercial expertise uniquely position him to make a valuable contribution to the Audit Committee and its stakeholders.

The company welcomes him to the Audit Committee and looks forward to his contribution to the company’s continued commitment to sound corporate governance, financial reporting and effective risk management.

Mentor resigns from Caribbean Assurance Brokers 

Caribbean Assurance Brokers is advising of the resignation of its former Mentor, Mrs. Tania Waldron, effective July 31, 2026. She has been replaced by Rion Hall, whose appointment took effect August 1, 2026. 

Carreras Marketing Deployment Manager departs 

Imran Mohammed has demitted the role of Marketing Deployment Manager at Carreras. The Board thanks him for his leadership and contribution during his tenure and wishes him every success as he transitions into his new role within the parent company, British American Tobacco (BAT).  

He has been replaced by Mrs Shaneele Ebanks, effective August 17, 2026. Mrs Ebanks Powell has been with Carreras since 2019 and brings strong commercial, trade and marketing expertise to the role. 

She will support the execution of the company’s brand, consumer and channel strategies across the market. The Board is confident that Mrs. Ebanks Powell’s strong cross-functional capabilities will further strengthen the company’s Marketing agenda and support the delivery of long-term value for shareholders.
