Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards had an unusual start to Monday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks  missing tip off for a reason few saw coming.

Initially listed in the starting lineup, Edwards was nowhere to be seen when the game began, with Mike Conley stepping in instead. It was later revealed that a last minute bathroom break delayed his arrival to the court.

Head coach Chris Finch brushed it off as one of those unavoidable moments, and once Edwards checked into the game just minutes later, he quickly made his presence felt.

Coming off a recent absence due to knee issues, Edwards looked refreshed and sharp, finishing with 17 points, along with two rebounds and four assists in a dominant 124–94 win.
