Glenmuir High School in Clarendon played host to the first-ever Mathematics Day on March 28 as a grand culmination of Maths Month celebrations by the Ministry of Education.
Recognising the importance of fostering mathematical literacy, The Best Dressed Chicken participated in the event, demonstrating the real-world applications of math in the food production industry.
Keynote speaker Tresha-Gay Roper, product scheduler and service excellence manager at The Best Dressed Chicken—and a Glenmuir alumna—engaged students with an insightful presentation on the critical role mathematics plays in the production of one of their favourite snacks: Best Dressed chicken nuggets.

From precise ingredient measurements and production scheduling to quality control and efficiency calculations, she highlighted how mathematics ensures consistency, safety and excellence in food manufacturing.
