House Speaker Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert has reportedly resigned from her position

This after a growing number of interest groups and the Opposition People’s National Party called for her to step aside over her handling of an Integrity Commission report in which she was accused of falsifying her statutory declarations.

In initially refusing to step aside, Dalrymple-Philibert blamed the omission of a 2015 Mercedes Benz GLA 250 from the document on a lapse in memory.
