People’s National Party President Mark Golding has secured St Andrew Southern in the 2025 General Election with an overwhelming majority.

Golding received 6,058 votes (94.19%), defeating Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidate Carlton Allen, who earned 374 votes (5.81%).

St Andrew Southern remains firmly within PNP control, a reputation reaffirmed by Golding’s decisive win. The margin speaks to the depth of support from the constituency, which includes Trench Town and Admiral Town.
