Jamaican dancehall star and Def Jam Recordings artist Masicka continues to solidify his position as one of the genre’s leading contemporary voices, with his third studio album, Forever Reign, debuting at No. 4 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart.

Released August 14 via Def Jam Recordings, Forever Reign delivered a strong opening week, underscoring Masicka’s growing global presence and the strength of his audience across streaming and album consumption.

The Billboard debut comes on the heels of another major career milestone. Just one day after the album’s release, Masicka took over Barclays Center in Brooklyn on August 15 for his debut U.S. headline arena show, selling out the iconic venue and turning the night into a major celebration of dancehall, Jamaican culture and New York’s Caribbean community.

The sold-out show featured special guests including Swizz Beatz, Tarrus Riley, Vanessa Bling and dancehall icon Elephant Man, who joined Masicka onstage throughout the night, adding to a career-defining celebration surrounding the release of Forever Reign.

Together, the No. 4 Billboard Reggae Albums chart debut and sold-out Barclays Center show represent back-to-back milestones for Masicka, further establishing him as one of the leading Jamaican artists of his generation and highlighting dancehall’s continued reach on the global stage.

Leading the project is “1 Psalm,” featuring Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, followed by “Honour Roll” featuring Kraff Gad. Other standout tracks including “Pointless,” “Oak Tree” and “Spend” have generated strong early engagement, demonstrating listener interest across the full project rather than around a single record.

Across 17 tracks, Forever Reign explores themes of faith, ambition, success, survival and legacy, while showcasing the introspective lyricism and commanding delivery that have become hallmarks of Masicka’s music. The album also features appearances from Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Blaqbonez, Kraff Gad and Lila Iké.

The momentum surrounding Forever Reign follows the success of Masicka’s previous album, Generation of Kings, and signals another chapter in his continued international growth.

Born Javaun Fearon in Jamaica, Masicka has emerged as one of the defining voices of contemporary dancehall, earning a global following through his intricate lyricism, vivid storytelling and ability to move seamlessly between hard-hitting records and deeply introspective music.

Following the success of his debut album, 438, Masicka signed with Def Jam Recordings and released Generation of Kings, further expanding his international presence. With Forever Reign, a No. 4 debut on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart and a sold-out debut headline arena show at Barclays Center, Masicka continues to build on his position as one of Jamaican music’s most prominent contemporary artists.
