Having not paid a dividend in almost three years, NCB Financial Group (NCBFG) is set to make another dividend payment next month.

This will be the second consecutive dividend payment in three years. The relatively new NCBFG board of directors has approved an interim dividend payment of J$0.50 per ordinary stock unit payable on March 18, 2024 to stockholders on record as at March 4, 2024. The ex-dividend date is March 1, 2024.

Last December, NCBFG made its first dividend payment in almost three years of J$0.50 per ordinary stock unit. That move came as a welcome development for shareholders, who had eagerly been waiting for the return of dividends.

Over the past six months, NCBFG has undertaken significant restructuring, including changes to its board and top management, as well as strategic initiatives to stabilise its operations and strengthen its financial position.

These efforts are now paying off, as evidenced by this decision to resume dividend payments.
