To the tune of J$20 million, Pepsi-Cola Jamaica has renewed its sponsorship of this year’s staging of Xodus and Yardmas Carnival, which culminates this weekend.

Through its flagship brand Pepsi, the company will elevate the carnival experience with its refreshing lineup of beverages and engaging activations during the week leading up to the road march and on road march day on Sunday (April 7), will serve as the official hydration station for revellers.

The brand is currently rolling out its new logo, a first in 14 years. Patrons can expect to see the new identity reflected across the t-shirt section of Xodus and the mobile bars for both bands on the day. Additionally, Pepsi will distribute its new 350ml for the spectators at select points along the route.

Expressing enthusiasm for the partnership, Alessandro Boyd, trade coordinator at PCJ, said, “We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Xodus and YardMas Carnival, two prominent pillars of the Jamaica Carnival experience. What makes this year even more special is that we are introducing our new logo during the excitement of the carnival.”

Scott Dunn, director of Xodus Carnival, said, “We are super-excited to have Pepsi in the Xodus family. Pepsi is an iconic global brand, and we hope Xodus will, one day, be as easily recognisable”.

“Everyone should look out for the Pepsi T-shirts with their new logo in the Xodus Road March this Sunday,” Dunn added.

Additionally, Andrew Bellamy, managing director of YardMas, shared similar sentiments, stating that Pepsi’s partnership will only help further bolster their revellers’ experience this year.

The Jamaica Carnival Road March promises to be a highlight on the social calendar, with over 100,000 persons joining in the celebration from countries all across the globe.

With Yardmas and Xodus Carnival events spanning from April 1-7, attendees can anticipate a week filled with pulsating music, vibrant costumes, and refreshing beverages courtesy of PCJ.
