PNP President Mark Golding has appointed Horace Dalley as an Officer Pro Tem of the Party for this 2021/22 political year, in keeping with the authority given to the President at the recently concluded 2021 Annual Conference.

In noting the appointment, Comrade Leader said, “Cde Dalley did a commendable job as acting Chairman, and I believe that our Party will be stronger for his continued contribution to deliberations of the Officer Corps.”

Horace Dalley has served as the PNP’s standard bearer in N. Clarendon for over three decades, and held a variety of offices in the Party since the 70s including Dep. Chairman.  He has served six terms in Parliament as MP, and many years as a Minister of Government.  

In keeping with its democratic traditions and Constitution, the National Executive Council  (NEC) yesterday conducted elections for Chairman, Deputy Chairman, and eleven Executive Committee members to serve for the 2021/22 political year.
