Police have seized an additional firearm following Monday’s foiled murder plot on Jacks Hill Road in St Andrew. The police theorise that this firearm may be linked to the incident, which brings the total number of weapons seized in the ongoing investigation to five.

The latest firearm recovery, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition, was made on Tuesday between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm along Jacks Hill Road.

On Monday, July 21, a confrontation between the police and armed men who were contracted to carry out a murder on Jacks Hill Road resulted in the five men being fatally shot and the initial seizure of four firearms. A sixth man managed to escape from the scene.

The police are renewing their appeal for Courtney Ashley, also known as ‘Bloodstain’, to report to the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Branch (C-TOC).

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Courtney Ashley or who has any details that could assist the police with their investigation is urged to contact C-TOC at 876-967-1389, Crime Stop at 311, the National Intelligence Bureau at 811 or the nearest police station.
