Red Stripe hosts blood drive to support national blood supply

Thirty-eight units of blood were collected as Red Stripe employees and members of the wider corporate community rolled up their sleeves to support Jamaica’s blood supply during a recent blood drive.
Held in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Service, the initiative brought donors together at Red Stripe’s head office to help meet the ongoing demand for blood used in emergency care, surgeries and the treatment of other medical conditions.
The collection adds to the National Blood Transfusion Service’s efforts to maintain an adequate blood supply for hospitals and patients across the island.
Supporting the effort behind the scenes are members of the National Blood Transfusion Service team who facilitated the collection of donations.
