Mitchell Starc ripped through Bangladesh with a sensational 10-wicket haul, firing Australia to an innings and 51-run victory in the second Test and a 1-1 series draw. 

Bangladesh were dismissed for just 95 in 38.3 overs on the second day at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay. Starc claimed four wickets, while Nathan Lyon and captain Pat Cummins picked up three apiece to seal victory shortly after tea.

The damage began in the first innings when Starc grabbed 6-12 and helped bowl Bangladesh out for only 64. He finished with match figures of 10-51.

Only 125 overs were needed to complete the contest, making it the fourth shortest Test to produce a winner. Starc also climbed to 10th on the all-time Test wicket list with 445, leaving him 126 behind Lyon, who sits sixth.

Australia will next face world Test champions South Africa in a three-match series in October.
