In a tragedy that unfolded yesterday morning, a two-month-old infant Timera Dennie lost her life in an incident that has shaken the Bowden Hill District of St Andrew.

At approximately 6:15 a.m., on Tuesday, October 3, Shaneill Allen, a B.P.O worker, and Johnnel Dennie, a construction worker, resided in their one-bedroom concrete house along with their four-year-old daughter Adaina Ross and their two-month-old twin babies, Ameria Dennie and Timera Dennie.

Tragedy struck when the house of the family collapsed with the family still inside. The rescue operation was a joint effort between local firefighters, led by Senior Superintendent Patrick Gooden, and residents who rallied together in the face of adversity. The tireless rescue team, working against the clock, managed to free Timera from the rubble at approximately 10:00 a.m.

Four members of the family were miraculously rescued from the wreckage.
