The National Works Agency (NWA) has announced temporary traffic changes along the Bull Bay main road to facilitate the official opening of the Harbour View to Yallahs leg of the Southern Coastal Highway Improvement Project (SCHIP).

In a release, the NWA, stated that the changes will be in effect on Tuesday, February 6, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The changes are as follows:      

• Closure of the westbound lanes (towards St Andrew) between Bull River Bridge at Sugar Loaf Hill and the Greenvale Road (Cane River Road) intersection.

• The eastbound lanes from the Greenvale Road intersection at Nine Miles and Bull River Bridge on Sugar Loaf Hill will be converted to two-way traffic.

• The roadway towards Eleven Miles will continue to accommodate two-way traffic.

The public is hereby advised to comply with the instructions given by officers of the Jamaica Constabulary Force manning the affected intersections and road closure points.
