Dolla Financial Services Limited has appointed seasoned financial consultant Alison Taffe as an independent board director, effective Thursday (February 29). 

The board also approved her joining its audit, remuneration and compliance & risk management committees as a committee member.

Taffe’s appointment is a strategic decision to diversify the expertise of the board, as Dolla continues to grow and to comply with corporate governance practices and with the amended junior market rules of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE). 

Taffe has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, spanning areas such as credit, relationship management and operations. She previously spent over 10 years with an international bank and 15 years with a local financial conglomerate.

She is a results-driven professional with proven expertise in core operations and fulfilment across the financial industry [banking, wealth, insurance].

The company says Taffe is a proven leader in strategy development and execution, embedding digital, CX, KPIs, and operational risk management.
