The home of cricket in Trinidad & Tobago, Queen’s Park Oval has named a stand for three of its cricket stars, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine.

Formerly known as the Trini Posse Stand, the stand has now been renamed, as part of the twin-island Caribbean republic’s 64th Independence Day celebrations. The three West Indies giants have been honoured with the stand named after them at the Port of Spain cricket stadium.

 The trio has been central to the rise of T20 cricket: Pollard has played 751 T20s and has scored 14,933 runs and picked up 341 wickets, while Bravo finished his career with 631 wickets and 6970 runs from 582 T20s. 

 Narine recently became only the second bowler to take 650 T20 wickets and is the leading wicket-taker in CPL history, from his 614 T20 games. All three are currently in Trinidad for CPL 2026. 

Pollard and Narine are playing for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), while Bravo is part of the franchise’s coaching staff. The stand joins several sections of the historic venue named after Trinidad & Tobago greats, including the Brian Lara Pavilion, the Deryck Murray Players’ Gallery, the Jeffrey Stollmeyer Stand and the Learie Constantine Stand.

TKR had recently also retired Bravo’s jersey No. 47, “in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the team, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and cricket in Trinidad & Tobago.”
