Caribbean Solar Life and Construction Ltd (CSL), one of Jamaica’s growing renewable energy companies, has appointed Chevaughne Miller as Chief Operating Officer (COO). 

The appointment strengthens the company’s executive leadership as CSL enters its next stage of growth and expands its renewable energy products, services and operations across Jamaica.

Since its establishment four years ago, CSL has installed solar energy systems for more than 300 residential, commercial and industrial customers across the island. The company’s growing project portfolio represents approximately 16.6 MWp of installed solar capacity and 62.3 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity, delivering an estimated JMD 134.46 million in monthly energy savings to customers across Jamaica.

With operations in both Montego Bay and Kingston, CSL continues to strengthen its ability to serve customers island-wide. The company is headquartered in Montego Bay and recently expanded its presence through the opening of a distribution and sales facility at Ferry, Kingston.

CSL’s continued growth extends beyond the installation of solar energy systems. The company is expanding its portfolio of renewable energy products and services to support the evolving needs of residential, commercial and industrial customers. As part of its distribution network, CSL supplies products from leading international brands, including LONGi, Astronergy, Solis, Deye, SRNE, CHINT, JAMIT and Midea.

Through its growing product portfolio, technical expertise and island-wide operations, CSL remains focused on delivering reliable and innovative solutions while contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy future for Jamaica.

Miller brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial strategy, sales, marketing, project management and operational leadership. As COO, she joins CSL’s executive leadership team with responsibility for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations, strengthening organisational alignment and accountability, improving cross-functional coordination and translating the company’s strategic objectives into measurable performance.

In her new role, Miller will also support CSL’s continued expansion, operational efficiency, service delivery and long-term growth across Jamaica’s renewable energy sector.

Prior to joining CSL, Miller served as Commercial, Sales and Marketing Director at Hospiten, where she led commercial and marketing strategy, managed major stakeholder relationships and oversaw business development and new projects. Her career also includes a senior role as Regional Sales and Investment Manager at Sagicor Investment Banking.

Throughout her career, Miller has developed a strong track record in team leadership, multi-location operations, organisational management, stakeholder engagement and commercial execution.

Miller holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales and a Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
