The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has officially partnered with the Nestlé Anglo-Dutch Caribbean on holding the Nestlé Caribbean Youth Summit on October 5 and 6.

The theme for the virtual Youth Summit: Empower Youth to act NOW is aligned with CARICOM’s mandate to empower the region’s youth through the creation of programmes that expand youth capacity and competency.

CARICOM Chairman Gaston Browne, who is also prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda, is scheduled to address all participants on the first day of the Summit.

The Summit will also feature addresses from Foster Cummings, minister of youth development and national diversity of Trinidad and Tobago, and Dwight Sutherland, minister of youth, sports and community empowerment for Barbados.

Other features of this Summit include mentorship sessions with business and industry leaders, motivational discussions, panel discussions and workshops on contemporary topics, including personal branding, environmental sustainability, personal financial management, E-Commerce for Entrepreneurs and Skills for success in the new reality.

The Nestlé Caribbean Youth Summit is targeted to youth aged 16 – 29 across the region, and registration is free. For further information about the Summit or to register for this event, please visit: www.nestle-caribbean.com
