In Corporate Movements this week, the GraceKennedy Group is advising that it group risk manager, Gerron Thomas, has resigned.

His resignation was effective on December 31 last year.

Guardian announces promotion

Guardian Holdings Limited has announced the promotion of Krystal Baynes-Hoseinee, who currently holds the role as assistant secretary. She is being promoted to the position of chief governance officer and corporate secretary of the company, effective today (January 1).

At the same time, the board of directors is advising that Richard Avey continues in the capacity of group general counsel.

Carib Cement effects board changes

Carib Cement has disclosed that Alejandra Hernandez has replaced Dania Heredia as a director effective December 4, 2023. 

Hernandez is an internal control expert with over 20 years background in Cemex, the second-largest building materials company worldwide. She has been employed with the Cemex Group and its subsidiaries since 2004.

Heredia has been a director at Caribbean Cement Company Limited since October 2017. The company welcomes Hernandez to the board and at the same time thanks Heredia for her contribution during her tenure.

LASCO Financial appoints two new independent non-executive directors 

LASCO Financial Services Limited is advising that David Andrade and Bevan Callam have been appointed as independent non-executive directors.
