The Ministry of Health & Wellness has welcomed back Dunstan Bryan as Permanent Secretary, following his two-year study leave.
Bryan previously served in the role and played a key part in advancing the Ministry’s policy priorities and strategic programmes.
Portfolio Minister, Christopher Tufton has welcomed his return and expressed confidence in Bryan’s leadership, experience and knowledge of the health sector as the Ministry continues its work to strengthen the health system and improve outcomes for Jamaicans.
He says the Ministry looks forward to Bryan’s continued contribution and collaboration with its leadership, staff and stakeholders in advancing quality healthcare for all Jamaicans.
After a brief but impactful two-year term as permanent secretary at the Ministry, Errol Greene resigned from the position late last month whilst acknowledging that critical work remains to be done.
